Jerry Kendrick is from Linden. Michigan. He became involved in art when attending college studying architecture. He painted with water color and acrylics during the 70’s.
Jerry discovered wood carving in 2000 and joined the Flint Wood Carver’s Club. He really found his nitch in art and really enjoys wood carving and sculptures both realistic and caricature.
Jerry has won (33) blue ribbons in competition. Although he hasn’t entered anything for a number of years, he is busy doing commissioned work and teaches classes to experienced carvers in something they are interested in for 3 – 5 days depending on their choice of subject. In addition, Jerry attends various juried art show displaying his work during the year.
