Art has the innate ability to help individuals overcome various challenges in their lives. Art is healing. Creating art is one of the richest forms of self-expression that anyone can enjoy in the human experience. How has art helped you deal with a challenge in your life either physical or emotional) and allowed you to reach beyond the barrier imposed by that challenge? The exhibit will celebrate the resilience of the artist living with different abilities.

Opening – September 12, 2020 Closing – October 10, 2020 ELIGIBILITY: Artists must be age 18 and older. All fine arts visual media will be considered. Artwork shown in prior juried exhibitions at Cause & Affect Gallery is not eligible. 2D work must be no larger than 60″ x 60″. 2D work must be wired and ready to hang. Alternative display methods may be used only with the approval of Cause & Affect Gallery, and the artist must supply any special hardware. 3D work must be no larger than 60″H x 36″ x36″ and weigh less than 50 lbs.

Jury of three individuals will meet on August 19, 2020.
Accepted artists will be notified by 5 PM, August 21, 2020. Artists will be notified by email. Drop off-hand-deliver only: Wednesday, September 9 or Thursday September 10, 2020 between 11:00am-7:00pm.
Tentative opening reception Saturday, September 12, 2020.
Pick up work: after closing Tuesday, October 13, 2020 between 11:00am–7:00pm.
