As an artist I create photographs that focus on the details of things, rather than the full picture.My goal is to inspire people who see my photographs, to observe more, to look more closely at the world around them and to discover beauty in everything, even the old, the unusual and forgotten things.

Through my close framing, I concentrate on the texture,
color, lines and rhythms of the object. It is not to invoke the images of the past grandeur, but to find beauty in its present state.

I was brought up in a small hilly town in the foothills of the Himalayas, in northern India. Photography was always a part of my life growing up and during my travels. I enjoy shooting photographs of different cultures and people, nature and old architecture.
