I have been a Michigan resident all my life.  I have been married to my husband Jeff for 40 years.  We have 4 children and 5 grandchildren.

I started weaving baskets over 20 years agol  I weave various kinds of baskets; practical baskets, ribbed (egg) baskets, hard wood, doll cradles, antler and Nantucket style baskets.  I have even woven four life size baby cradles.  I also make pine needle baskets.

A few years later, I started creating with gourds, including making instruments.  I have taught others the love of weaving for almost 20 years. 

My greatest challenges are when I am asked to create a special order or the repair a precious heirloom basket that had gotten broken or damaged.
